‍Tara Hilmes is the founder of Eterna Beauty & Wellness and the creator of The Eterna Method, a personalized approach to aesthetic care focused on helping patients look like themselves at their best. With a strong medical background and an eye for detail, she combines clinical knowledge with thoughtful, customized treatment planning.

2) What is your area of specialty/favorite area(s) of interest/treatment and why?

Tara specializes in full-face rejuvenation and skin quality, with a focus on long-term results and individualized care. Tara is passionate about educating her patients and guiding them through a plan that feels clear, supportive, and tailored to their goals.

3) What do you enjoy most about your career/specialty?

What she enjoys most about her work is seeing patients feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. At Eterna, her favorite part is the shared commitment to creating an experience that feels intentional, elevated, and genuinely patient-focused.

1) Tell us about yourself.

Ali started her healthcare career 20 years ago, after first earning degrees in fashion. From CNA to Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in nearly every aspect of nursing, gaining extensive hands-on experience throughout her career.

2) What is your area of specialty/favorite areas of interest/treatment and why?‍

Ali has always been drawn to aesthetics, as she views it as more of an art form than standardized care. It allows her to think outside of the box, which is also why she enjoys practicing holistically and leans toward functional medicine.

She enjoys injecting, whether it’s tox, HA filler, or biostimulators. She understands it is far more complex than it may appear, requiring an advanced understanding of facial anatomy and the ability to “see” the result before a needle has even touched the face.

3) What do you enjoy most about your career/specialty?‍

Ali feels fulfilled in her career path as she is able to help others in their journey of anti-aging. She loves seeing her patients truly happy and feeling that they have been heard and understood.

4) What’s your favorite thing about being part of the Eterna team?‍

Ali describes the Eterna team as exceptional. Each individual personality and range of experience has created an environment of laughter, learning, and mentorship that could not have been put together more perfectly.

5) Tell us a bit more about your personal life and interests.‍

Ali enjoys the laughter that comes from a random phone call with friends. Lazy Sundays are a necessity for her. Traveling is not optional—it is a must. She admits she knows she should go to the gym, but hasn’t quite gotten there yet. She is highly independent, which can be both a strength and a challenge depending on the situation. Above all, she has a big heart and loves deeply.

1) Tell us about yourself.

Nurse for 16 years, with over 2 years as a nurse injector. Mom and proud bonus mom — family is everything to me. Future wife, coffee lover , and someone who truly loves making others feel good about themselves every single day.

2) What is your area of specialty/favorite area(s) of interest/treatment and why?

Pre/post surgical nurse with a passion for aesthetics and wellness. Experienced in laser treatments, Botox, and IV hydration — combining medical expertise with a love for helping people look and feel their best. Dedicated to patient care, confidence-building, and results that make a difference.

3) What do you enjoy most about your career/specialty?

What I enjoy most about aesthetic nursing is the confidence it gives people
It’s more than treatments — it’s helping someone look in the mirror and feel like the best version of themselves. I love building trust with my patients, enhancing natural beauty, and being part of their self-care journey. Seeing that smile after a treatment never gets old ‍

4) What’s your favorite thing about being part of the Eterna team?

Working alongside such talented, supportive employees who truly care makes all the difference. We are creative, personalized, and really connect with our clients. It’s a space where innovation, passion, and genuine care come together — and I’m so grateful to be part of it. 

5) Tell us a bit more about your personal life and interests.

In my free time I enjoy being a Mom of 3, blending families, wedding planning, and house hunting. My fave hobby honestly is probably early morning coffee on my back porch before the kiddos wake up.

1) Tell us about yourself.

Katelyn is a licensed esthetician who completed her training at Skin Institute. She is deeply passionate about skincare and loves educating clients on how to properly care for their skin. Known as a self-proclaimed “yapper” when it comes to skincare, Katelyn could truly talk about it all day.

2) What is your area of specialty/favorite area(s) of interest/treatment and why?

Katelyn specializes in acne treatments using Face Reality and is passionate about creating personalized home care routines that deliver real results. Having personally experienced acne, she understands both the physical and emotional impact it can have. Helping clients regain confidence in their skin is incredibly meaningful to her, and she genuinely enjoys building customized routines tailored to each individual.

3) What do you enjoy most about your career/specialty?

Katelyn and finds the most fulfillment in helping clients feel confident in their own skin again. She values not only the physical transformations but also the emotional ones. Building connections, having meaningful conversations, and developing lasting relationships with her clients are some of her favorite parts of the job.

4) What’s your favorite thing about being part of the Eterna team?

Katelyn’s favorite part of being at Eterna is the team environment. She loves working alongside a group that feels more like friends than coworkers. The team is supportive, collaborative, and always learning from one another while still maintaining a fun and uplifting atmosphere.

5) Tell us a bit more about your personal life and interests.

Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys shopping, spending time walking her dog, and anything related to health and wellness. She also loves relaxing with her favorite shows, including Friends, Full House, Criminal Minds, and Law & Order: SVU.

Mikayla wears multiple hats at Eterna, managing social media and marketing while also providing facial treatments. She has been in esthetics for nearly 4 years and brings additional experience as a former medical assistant. She completed her undergraduate studies at SIU Carbondale with a focus in business and studied esthetics at Rend Lake College.

2) What is your area of specialty/favorite area(s) of interest/treatment and why?

Mikayla specializes in anti-aging treatments. She is passionate about creating services that not only improve the skin but also help clients feel relaxed and rejuvenated. She believes that a facial incorporating massage, steam, and a customized masque can truly reset both the skin and the mind.

3) What do you enjoy most about your career/specialty?

Mikayla enjoys helping clients feel their best. Whether through visible skin improvements or providing a space to unwind and recharge, she finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of that experience.

4) What’s your favorite thing about being part of the Eterna team?

Mikayla values working alongside a team of talented and supportive women. The collaborative environment allows for continuous learning, idea sharing, and a collective focus on delivering the best possible results for patients.

5) Tell us a bit more about your personal life and interests?

Mikayla is a newlywed and a dog mom to Dexter and Theodore. She enjoys decorating her home, planting flowers, and spending time relaxing with a good TV binge. She also has an ever growing skincare collection, reflecting her passion for the industry.

Before joining Eterna, Jamee spent over a decade as a stay-at-home mom raising her three boys. Transitioning back into the workforce has been an incredibly fulfilling experience, and she feels fortunate to be part of a practice like Eterna. Surrounded by a team of talented, knowledgeable, and inspiring women, Jamee has grown both personally and professionally while building a career in aesthetics that she is truly passionate about.

2) What is your area of specialty/favorite area(s) of interest/treatment and why?

Jamee has a strong passion for aesthetic treatments, especially Botox and medical-grade skincare. She believes in a consistent, preventative approach to aging—where Botox and a tailored skincare regimen work together to create natural, refreshed results. She enjoys helping clients understand how subtle, well-planned treatments can enhance their natural beauty and boost confidence over time.

3) What do you enjoy most about your career/specialty?

Jamee finds the most fulfillment in being part of an industry centered on confidence, self-care, and feeling your best. She values contributing to an elevated, results-driven client experience where attention to detail and personalized care truly make a difference.

Eterna’s culture is something Jamee deeply appreciates. She is proud to work alongside a team that is not only highly skilled, but also supportive, empowering, and committed to excellence. The level of professionalism and genuine care for each client creates an environment she is honored to be part of.

5) Tell us a bit more about your personal life and interests?

‍Jamee is a proud mom to three boys, ages 13, 15, and 17. Life is busy and full, and she enjoys supporting her family and staying involved in all of their activities. She also loves traveling, relaxing with a good Netflix series, and reading—though lately that’s often turned into listening to books on Audible whenever she can.
